Sailor Moon- Zoisite

I was going to do essential episodes like before but pretty much all of the Zoisite's episodes are important because we are at that point in the season where they are really getting the plot moving forward. So, I would recommend watching episodes 25-35. You might be able to get away with skipping an episode or 2 between episodes 28-32, but they all are kind of essential to understand what is happening from episode 33-35. So, yeah, I recommend watching all of Zoisite's episodes. Now, the rest of the post has spoilers, so that's your warning. The basic premise of this section is that everyone is fighting each other for these 7 rainbow crystals. When you have all seven crystals, it makes the silver crystal, and that is supposed to be hella powerful. So from episode 25-31, we are finding a crystal every episode. And the Sailor Scouts don't even get all the crystals (I think they only get 1 or 2). Tuxedo Mask is also collecting the crystals because literally Sailor Moon in h...

Sailor Moon- Nephrite

I was so excited to continue watching Sailor Moon that this is literally posted in the same week. This show is just so addictive to me, and not gonna lie, the plot really picks up in this section, so I am running off of this high of being completely invested. Now on to the actual show.  - Essential Viewing (Spoiler Free) Again I included the reasons why I think these are episodes are important blacked out, so you can highlight over it if you want to find out. Episode 14 (Introduction of Nephrite and Zoisite) Episode 15 (Rei and Mamoru start to date) Episode 17 (Introduction of Sailor Senshi Communication Device) Episode 19 (Start of Naru and Nephrite's romance and more info on Tuxedo Mask) Episode 21 (First combo attack) Episode 22 (Introduction of the Silver Crystal and Kunzite, continuation of the search for the princess, and more on Tuxedo mask) Episode 23 (Continuation of Naru and Nephrite's romance) Episode 24 (Nephrite's death) - The Villain- Nephrite (SPOILERS) First...

Sailor Moon- Jadeite

After a watching a video on Sailor Moon that was constantly on my recommended on YouTube, I was reminded with how much I loved this show. This, of course, led me to rewatch the entire show because wasting hours of my life for no reason is my favorite past time. I also found that I seriously lacked anime content so that led me to want to write about it. I was trying to figure out how writing this would work because there are a lot of episodes which means I'm not going to review Sailor Moon as a whole because I would forget the beginning by the time I got to the end. I also would not review every single episode because again there are a lot and since it's a superhero show there are a lot of "throw away" episodes. (This also lead me to want to create an "essential viewing" list, which would include only episodes that I think is important in regards to plot or character development.) The arcs themselves are quite large and are split into even smaller parts with ...

Kingdom- Re-Born

I really appreciated that all the teams received feedback on their performances by the experts. In all the other shows that I have seen, I only have seen them give critique for the practices but never the performances, so it is definitely something new and refreshing. I really liked that they included positives and negatives in each performance so that the groups can really learn and see what works and what needs to be fixed.  - SF9 I think the choice of The Stealer for their song was perfect. The song really fits SF9's image and sound and is perfect for the sort of concept that they were aiming for. I think the other choices of Giddy Up and Bloom Bloom would have been too difficult to turn into a storyline based performance, but the Stealer definitely fits with impactful hits and the already heist concept of the original song. I also found that the acting advice segment from award winning stage actor Jung Sung Hwa to be very interesting. I was surprised to see all of the acting st...

Kingdom- To the World

This show really doesn't have a lot of segments and it seems like they are mainly focused on the performances rather than interactions between the groups. I personally think that it is a bit of a shame because my favorite part of these shows are seeing contestants interact with each other.  It seems like a lot them know each other and seeing these relationships on screen would be really fun. The Boyz So in preparation, they went to some sort of pool thing for an underwater photoshoot to represent "No Air". Not gonna lie, I was pretty confused as to the purpose. Like they were saying all this stuff like "We need to experience the pressure and hopelessness of having no air", but like what does this have to do with an underwater photoshoot. Like y'all are essentially going to a pool and taking pictures. But go off I guess? They were really serious about this and I was just confused. Like I saw that they used some of Juyeon's footage and maybe that was the p...

Kingdom- Meet and Greet

I wasn't planning on watching this show. Honestly, I just wasn't that interested in it because I don't really follow any of the groups involved. I knew of all of the groups for sure and I definitely have heard at least one of their songs. (Throwback to me talking about BTOB's Movie and having Stray Kids and SF9 on my top 10 songs of 2020.) The issue was I wasn't particularly invested in one group over another and wasn't interested in watching another competition show. I get overly invested in these shows and feel rollercoaster of emotions that I just am not here for. However, the YouTube algorithm strikes again because I have watched basically every performance and was like "Fuck it, Viki has it with English subtitles. I'm just gonna watch it." So, here we are.  To add to my preface, I am most familiar with BTOB and Stray Kids. BTOB has been around for ages. Ilhoon was my bias mainly for his job cohosting with Apink's Bomi on Weekly Idol(he has...

OnlyOneOf- libidO

I know. I have not talked about the much hyped and talked about SHINee comebacks or Lucy's comeback. I was planning it and even started a post on SHINee's album, but, as expected for me, I dropped it. ðŸ™ƒ Sorry. I absolute loved the Don't Call Me album as well as the Inside single album. I have not listened to the new songs of SHINee's repackaged album yet (with the exception of Atlantis because I watched the music video), but I'm sure I'll really dig them and I might write a post on the repackaged album. Now, Libido. I am obsessed with this song. As always, it appeared on my YouTube recommended. I was curious, and I clicked on it. Not gonna lie, the title of the song did not register in my brain, so I was a little surprised with the music video, particularly the dancing. Of course, not in a bad way. I am huge on embracing one's sexuality and I love a sexy concept. Like you bet your ass that I am obsessed with Exo's Love Shot and Mixnine's version of ...

SHINee- Marry You

Y'all. I'm at a loss of words. I'm so goddamn psyched for this comeback on February 22. When looking up this song I saw a Reddit post about it and there was a comment that said that after all these years SHINee never disappoints and I could not agree more. Any expectations I have for them, they consistently exceed them. These guys keep on coming out with absolute bops. Of course, Marry You is no exception.  I think what really makes this song so good is that it is so vocally driven. The backing track, for the most part, is pretty simple. The first verse literally just has the synth and a single cymbal hit. It builds with the added rhythmic hits during Taemin's section. This building continues throughout the song where each verse brings another layer to the background music. Kind of unrelated, but I love that bass part. I usually don't have my audio settings set on bass heavy, but I might make an exception for this song because I adore the bass part. It's not re...
