As a kpop fan, I constantly use the term bias list and stuff, but you know what, I never really made an official written down one. I honestly don't have an order except that SHINee's Onew is number 1. And I'm not really mentally prepared for ranking my biases because I love them all the same, except Onew just a little bit more. Instead, I'll put my bias for each of the groups I listen to and actually know the members for. For some groups, I have multiple biases because I'm just indecisive as hell. I'll provide a list of groups that I just can't choose a bias for because I love them all (@ace). Everything is alphabetical, so like easy navigating.
APINK- Eunji
For APINK, Eunji has always been my bias. Her voice. Like, damn, it's so smooth, like honey. It's everything I want to hear. I love it. And then her acting. Like, yassss girl. I love love love Reply 1997 so much. It's one of my favorite kdramas. I rewatch this ALL THE TIME. So yeah, Eunji. I love her.
Astro- Moonbin
Ok, don't kill me. I know that before I said Sanha was my bias, but Jesus Christ, Moonbin has always been my bias wrecker and he finally wrecked it for real this past comeback. Like everyone, he is so talented. I remember seeing him dance in the webseries thing they did, and I was like damn bro. I must say though, watching Rocky dance is also so satisfying, especially in this song. He just makes it so effortless but so precise and smooth. Basically, all of Astro just fucking nailed it this comeback, because I just can't deal. So, yeah I'm gonna stick with Moonbin as my bias and hopefully it'll stick
B1A4- Gongchan
Like, a few of the others I didn't really have a bias for B1A4 for the longest time, but Gongchan really rose to the top after seeing him and the other members in variety shows. I find him to be really entertaining, and I particularly LOVE watching him in this video. I honestly rewatch this video everytime I feel upset and it picks me right up.
Black Pink- Jennie
I know, I know the controversy with Jennie not performing to the best of her ability during a concert, and yeah, I don't agree with that. It is not fair for those that spent so much time and money to see you perform, and doing it half-assed really isn't respectful to those fans. Even so, she is a really good artist, and I'm sure she can comeback from this and give it her all. That being said, I love her. She's so talented and charismatic in her songs. I honestly love seeing her do rapping, singing, and dancing all in one video. You go girl.
Block B- UKwon
Honestly, for the longest time I never really had a bias for Block B. I just really dug their music and never really went into who everyone was. So, I really just started out knowing only Taeil and Zico. Then Block B Basterz came out, and I was really able to notice UKwon more than like seeing him in Block B videos, and then I saw UKwon on the Hit the Stage, and I think that really showcased him and his talents more than when he was dancing with Block B. Because let's be honest, Block B is not known for their dancing. But, UKwon fucking nailed this dance and I was sold.
CNBlue- Minhyuk
This guy is just so cute, yeah I know he's older than me. Like, I really started to like him by seeing him in Heartstrings. His character was so cuuuuute. And then in Heirs, with the relationship between his character and f(x)'s Krystal's character, ugh cuuuute. Like as the drummer in CNBLUE, he doesn't really get a lot of lines, it's mainly just Yonghwa and Jonghyun (which makes Jonghyun such a bias wrecker because his voice ughhhh). But, I love when he sang Teardrops in the Rain. Like, that melted my heart.
Highlight- Gikwang
Ok, even though he's my bias, I get so confused on how to spell his name. Is it Kikwang or Gikwang, like, I'm so confused. Anyway, I love the guy. His dancing is great, and I love how he and Junhyung do some songwriting, and I believe he does some choreographing? (I really don't know). But I do know, that he is the main dancer, and I find it hilarious when he doesn't remember the dances in Weekly Idol's Random Play Dance. I must say Doojoon is a bias wrecker because I love seeing him in Let's Eat and he's also fucking hilarious (especially in this video with the wall dancing).
Infinite- L
He honestly deserves so much more credit than he's given. There's so many people that say he's just a good looking guy with no talent, but they're really missing so much. He's great at acting being in so many dramas, my favorite of which was Cunning Single Lady. I love that show, and his character in it, fucking hilarious. And he's actually is so good at singing, and I'm so happy that he could showcase that King of the Masked Singer. Like, his voice there is perfect. I hope he gets more singing parts with that range in Infinite.
LOONA- Hyunjin
Ok, so as I keep on repeating, I got into LOONA with Haseul's solo, so like December 2016. Hyunjin's video was already out, and my friend was like "You're gonna love this video. There's fucking cats everywhere". So, yeah, I appreciated the cats and how artistic the video was. As I also continue to complain about, I wish that they played her song at full volume throughout the video, but that didn't stop me from loving this girl. I was so happy to see her in more LOONA music videos with her duets with Heejin, her being in LOONA 1/3, and her cameos in Odd Eye Circle's Girl Front and Vivi's Everyday I Love You. I first started liking her through LOONA TVs though, where I found her funny and friendly and stuff. I was then really psyched to see her on MixNine, especially to see her do so well on it. The whole betrayal thing was, um, not preferable. My two cents on it was just MixNine making it overdramatic. She didn't kick Heejin out just to be mean, it was so LOONA would have a better chance staying in the game, because if they are on two different teams then the chance that at least one of them are staying are much higher. And people be saying that she should have chosen a different song then. But the thing is SHE DIDN'T KNOW HEEJIN WAS AT THAT SONG. Heejin was conflicted between 2 songs, so Hyunjin didn't know which one she would have been in. Hyunjin then just went to the song she wanted to do and saw that Heejin was there and was like "Oh fuck". So, she had to kick Heejin out because being on the same team is not the smart thing to do during these competitions. I know this was a huge fucking rant, but I just had to get that off my chest. Anyway, I love Hyunjin, and think she's very underrated. Like the girl can dance, she did very well in dancing in MixNine, and she can sing, we saw that in her solo. And I just want to see more of her. Please, Blockberry Creative, give me more Hyunjin.

A/N: I wanted to put this video, but for some reason it wouldn't let me.
NCT- Ten
So, as many people know NCT has like a billion members and more just keep getting added. So, like I really like Jisung in NCT Dream and Yuta in NCT 127, but like Ten has got to take it all. I love this guy. He's so talented. His dancing, wow. I get blown away every time. And don't get me started on Baby Don't Stop. He and Taeyong were amazing in that song. I honestly listen to it religiously, basically listening to it everyday. My favorite part being when Taeyong says random ass English words, because that makes sense.
Nu'est- Minhyun
So, Minhyun, I love him. I think his personality was really able to shine through Produce 101 and being part of Wanna One. I gotta say I find it hilarious when he interacts with Yoo Seonho and Jaehwan. I also think that the more I watch and get to know him as an entertainer, the more I like him. He really can be quite funny and there's a few videos out there that really showcase that. For example, his rapping honestly makes me laugh so much. I gotta say though, JR is a serious bias wrecker especially with his performance on Produce 101. He really was able to showcase just what a good leader he is and how caring he is for others, so he always comes close to wrecking bias list.
Red Velvet- Wendy
Yes, I know. Another idol on my list that is controversial. Yes, I agree her impersonations were insensitive. I don't think she meant them to be offensive, but like, yes, she shouldn't have done them. That being said I still like her as an artist. Her voice is great. I love when she sang "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". I know it's not Christmas time, but her vocals in this song slapped. I must add though Seulgi is a serious bias wrecker, because her voice is also amazing and her dancing is on point.
Seventeen- Hoshi
I love Hoshi so much. His catchphrase "naega hosh" is my shit and "10:10", love it. His personality is so precious. He is hilarious with Seungkwan on Hoshi and Seungkwan Andromeda (highly recommend) and like anytime he talks. And, of course, Hoshi's amazing ability to choreograph. Like I love the work he does and he is just so talented in dance, he really deserves to be the leader of the performance team.
SHINee- Onew
Honestly, I talk about Onew so much in this blog, it's kind of scary. It's hard to believe, but he wasn't my first bias in SHINee. I know, I know, don't kill me please. I started off having Key as my bias and then Taemin, but neither of those really lasted that long. And then the heavens opened, and my bias was Onew and has been for like, forever. Let's start with his voice. I always knew his voice was just angelic. It's smooth like honey, like damnnnn. I honestly can't help but smile whenever he starts singing. And can I just say, I was waiting for him to have a solo since Taemin came out with Danger because like a voice like that deserves a solo. When he finally came out with Blue, I was like "YASSSS!!!! FINALLY!!!" because I needed this. And then I found out he was going to the military, basically right after he released this song. Wow, way to play with my emotions. I'm gonna miss him for the next two years 😭😭😭. But that's just his voice. Next, his dance. Ok, admittedly Taemin kicks his ass at dancing, but SHINee in general fucking SLAYS at dancing, and Onew being able to dance SHINee's dances is to be applauded. My favorite dance would probably be his part of the plane in Everybody (watch it in the dance practice I promise it's worth it). And on that note, can I just say he's fucking hilarious. Like SHINee in general is exceptionally funny, which is one of the reasons that I love them so much, but like Onew takes this shit to a new level. Like he does so many ongoing gags that I can't even count them all, but let me just list a few
1. His insane flicking ability, like this shit is unreal and dangerous. Like he fucking cracked a walnut with a flick
2. His imitation of Jonghyun in Love Like Oxygen
3. His duck imitiation
4. His clumsiness/forgetfulness- there's so many videos and posts about this its hilarious
5. His love for chicken
6. His aegyo- I honestly don't know whether to laugh or cringe
I love watching him on variety shows, like there's never a dull moment. Lucky for us there's so much content for us to watch because he's been on so many (especially during Ring Ding Dong promotions, which is kind of worrying because he must have been so overworked). Anyway, I could spend a whole post just talking about how much I like Onew, but since he is just one of many in this list, let's just leave it here
Sistar- Bora
I love SISTAR, and I am so sad they disbanded last year. So, my bias is Bora and she probably became my bias after she was on A Style For You with Super Junior's Heechul, Kara's Hara, and EXID's Hani. Then, she appeared on Hit the Stage, and was able to show everyone how talented she was at dancing, and I was all for it, like she fucking killed it.
A/N: I wanted to put this video, but for some reason it didn't work.
VIXX- Ken
So, VIXX. I remember them catching my interest after seeing them perform Eternity on Inkigayo. I love how into concepts they are as group, which made me start to look into the group. In the beginning, I didn't really have a bias, but leaned more towards N. However, after watching them on different variety shows and listening to more of their music, I grew to really like Ken, thus making him my bias. He's really funny and just his voice... mm it's so nice. And his smile makes me smile, yeah....
Groups that I like too many members- ACE, EXO, Wanna One
Wanna One- So going in to Produce 101 Season 2, I hella wanted Nu'est to make it all the way. because I knew them before and liked their stuff. Hell, I fricking cried seeing them there and having them look up to their hoobaes. So, I totally wanted Minhyun to fucking kill, and he did. Love him. Then fucking Park Jihoon comes in with his winking and heart lock, and I'm fucking dead. Can I just say how cute was he, when he did the heart lock thing for the first time with his hat, round glasses, and large sweater. My heart melted. And like, Ong, I fucking love that guy. He won us with his great Uptown Funk dance, and then kept it by being hilarious as well as talented. So yeah, these three basically are my biases with Park Woojin sticking his head up there every once in a while.
So, yeah, this was basically my bias list, just not in order. This honestly took forever to make because there's just so much I had to say. I still left out some stuff, but I think you get the general gist. I tried to include videos of these artists in either music videos or variety shows, and tried to steer away from fan made videos. Of course for many of these people, there are other videos that probably showcase their personalities and talents better than the ones I provided, but these were the ones that I was able to put in video form on this post that I felt were able to help give an idea of what their personality is like or what their talents are. This is my bias list, so these are just my favorites from each group. I don't think they are any better than the rest of the people in their group, in the kpop industry, in the music industry as a whole, or even the rest of the world. I just admire and appreciate them as an artist. These are just my opinions of the groups that I listen to and actually try to learn the members for. If your favorite group is not on this list or if you don't have the same bias as I do, please don't kill me. This is just my opinion. So... Um... Yeah...
P.S. I wrote a majority of this post before I learned about the Burning Sun scandal. I know that some of the artists involved are in this post. I do not support any of the horrible things that they have done, and, sadly, I find it hard to listen to the music that they have been in. In fact the other day, I was listening to a CNBLUE song and I just couldn't finish the song knowing what Jonghyun did. So yeah it really sucks, but I am glad these things came to light before more harm could be done. I also decided to leave it in because that is what I thought about these people at the time and it kind of shows how dangerous these people can be. Artists are people, and not all of them are good people so I think it's very important to not take everything at face value and learn from our mistakes.
APINK- Eunji
For APINK, Eunji has always been my bias. Her voice. Like, damn, it's so smooth, like honey. It's everything I want to hear. I love it. And then her acting. Like, yassss girl. Groups that I like too many members- ACE, EXO, Wanna One
Ace- So, I got introduced to this group through The Unit and Mixnine (One of the only good things that came out of Mixnine). And every time I watch one of their videos, I just find a new favorite. Like, I can't possibly choose a bias out of these amazing people. If I were to add them to an "official" bias list, they would be put as a whole group and not as individuals, because I just love them all so much. It'd be like
1. Onew
2. Rest of SHINee
3. A.C.E.
4. Everyone else
I seriously can't choose. Donghun's voice be the voice of angels, and then fucking Seyoon be coming along with the epic choreo for 2PM My House, and then Byeongkwan be killing it in free styling, and then Chan comes in doing with slightly cringey aegyo, and of course Jun just being his multitalented self. And their smiles, how tf could all of their smiles be so precious.
EXO- Ok, so EXO was the first kpop group I got into so we got some history. When I got into them, they were still OT12 (I miss those days 😭), and they were mainly promoting as EXO-M and EXO-K. So, I had a bias for each group, EXO-M's being Luhan and EXO-K's being Baekhyun, but like Luhan being the ultimate bias. As many people know, Luhan sort of left EXO, so yeah... bias list had to change. I still liked Baekhyun, but, like, Lay being out here wrecking my bias list, it's kinda a mix of those two.
So, yeah, this was basically my bias list, just not in order. This honestly took forever to make because there's just so much I had to say. I still left out some stuff, but I think you get the general gist. I tried to include videos of these artists in either music videos or variety shows, and tried to steer away from fan made videos.
