Scarlet Heart Ryeo

SPOILER ALERT!!!
The following post may include spoilers!!!

I heard of this drama being put together way back in the spring, and I have been eagerly anticipating it's release. I found out the this drama finally came out around a couple of days ago in which I have been binge-watching the series. I have reached the 7th episode so far, and I have to wait for the next episode to come out. TT.TT  Anyway, I'm totally hooked on the drama and I find it to be absolutely spectacular. I was super excited when I first heard of the drama, because of the list of actors that were to appear in the show. I was so excited to see IU, Jisoo, Nam Joo Hyuk, Lee Joongi, and Kang Haneul all working on a drama together. I was definitely not disappointed by this cast and I find myself enamored with the story line, characters, wardrobe, sets, and osts as well.

I'm so deep into the story line that it literally fills my head throughout the day. All the family drama and political disputes really is entertaining. When the drama portion gets a bit to hard for me to handle, they adding these really fun and heartwarming scenes. Baekhyun's character really adds to comic relief and his interactions with Jisoo and Haesoo (IU) are really funny. Him getting in a fight with Haesoo and then having a crush on her really makes me smile, and his little fights with Jisoo are really funny. The puppet scene with Haesoo is also quite cute, and so is their birthday scene. I love that scene in general, since the princes are soo cute. Jisoo's character is also really great to watch. He tends to be very funny and quite sweet, which I quite enjoy. Those two deem to be the comic relief duo, and they probably are my favorite characters. The scenes where all the brothers are together are also a few of my favorite scenes. They have such brotherly chemistry.

I feel like the fourth prince during the ceremony
practice. You can't help but to smile at those idiots.

Joo Hyuk's character is also one that I like. He's apparently the "artistic" type, with the drawing and the gayageum playing. His unrequited love for Myung-Hee is sort of heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. The part where he and Haesoo are drinking together, really makes me like his character to a whole new level. The way that he is so devoted to Myung-Hee and how he so passionately disagrees with a social status system. he also seems willing to open up to the 4th prince which is really nice. the 4th prince really touches my heart too. He's been through so much crap , you can't help but to pity him a little, and just admire him for his ability to face adversity. i just want to give him a big hug, even though he can be a jerk. Myung-Hee was also such a nice girl. she cared for Haesoo as if she were her own daughter and loved the 8th prince unconditionally. She was just such a kind person, it's hard for a person not to like her. She also so selfless, and I was about to cry when she told the 8th prince to remarry because she knew he liked Haesoo. The characters are just so deep and beautiful, I can't help but to fall for them.

The sets and costumes for this show is amazing as well. I adore the Goryeo era and the way that this show presents it is stunning, The outfits that Haesoo wears up to the 7th episode are really nice. I particularly like the blue and yellow hanbok.

Plus the outfits that the princess wears. She always looks really pretty, even though her personality is horrible. The princes also dress really well and I enjoy seeing them throughout the drama. I find it interesting that even though they all wear hanboks, they all have their own individual style. The sets are also very convincing, and I find this to be true for all historical dramas. The amount of detail that the producers put into these shows blow me out of the water. The osts for this drama are also so great. The music in the opening sequence is EPIC and the rest of the music continues to be just as good. They all really set the mood for each scene and are really enjoyable.

Basically I absolutely adore the series and I can't wait for the rest of the show to come out. The characters are so lovable and the story line so addictive, I seriously don't know what to do with my ife until the next episode comes out. So.. um.. yeah...

Sailor Moon- Jadeite

After a watching a video on Sailor Moon that was constantly on my recommended on YouTube, I was reminded with how much I loved this show. This, of course, led me to rewatch the entire show because wasting hours of my life for no reason is my favorite past time. I also found that I seriously lacked anime content so that led me to want to write about it. I was trying to figure out how writing this would work because there are a lot of episodes which means I'm not going to review Sailor Moon as a whole because I would forget the beginning by the time I got to the end. I also would not review every single episode because again there are a lot and since it's a superhero show there are a lot of "throw away" episodes. (This also lead me to want to create an "essential viewing" list, which would include only episodes that I think is important in regards to plot or character development.) The arcs themselves are quite large and are split into even smaller parts with ...

NCT Dream- Chewing Gum

Ok, so, another sub group of NCT, NCT Dream, came out Chewing Gum. This might be favorite single that NCT came out with. It's so bright, fun, and cute. Every time I see the video I break out into a smile. The story is pretty lighthearted, and it's very entertaining to watch. I absolutely love the bright colors that they use throughout the video. It really adds to the group's cute and bright theme. I found the video quite interesting to watch. They had a variety of different sets, including the ones made by the computer, and all of them were of bright colors. I also enjoyed the electronic made backgrounds for when the members had the closeups. Each person had a different animated background, so it was interesting to see what was behind them. I also kind of funny that they were using those hoverboard-thingies. (I have no idea what they're called, but I think it's a hoverboard?) The song is quite catchy, and I could probably listen to it over and over again for hou...

Astro- Baby

For those who might know, Astro is a somewhat new group under Fantagio that debuted in 2016. I have been fans of theirs since I watched To Be Continued, which is available on Netflix. 😉 (Check it out!) Sanha has to be my bias 💛, but Moon Bin is such a bias wrecker. 😖 I LOVE this song! It continues their fresh, sweet, and fun concept that they have kept since debut. However, this is less cutesy and right up my alley. It's smooth but still bright, which is absolutely perfect. It has that certain funk to it that is irresistible and insanely catchy. The reoccurring beat is sooo catchy and is great. The electric guitar at 2:43 is EPIC!! I'd have to say though that the ending has to be my favorite part. That beautiful harmony hits the spot, and is perfection. But, Sanha singing the 2nd chorus was really great as well (I really love his voice 💛) One thing I love about this video is how it's filmed in first person so it feels as if you are truly experiencing what's happ...
