NU'EST- Overcome

The first movie video for this song came out around a month ago, and the performance version came after as well as the practice version. The Acoustic version came out recently and I was excited to see this version of the song. I really love this version.

I really liked the song and dance as well as the set they used for the dancing. The Greek columns and the sort of ancient ruins look was really quite cool. The shots for the individual members were nice and interesting. Can I just say how Minhyun just kills me. He is my bias in the group and he literally just makes me have so much feels.

Just look how gorgeous he is. He needs to stop making my heart skip a beat or I'm gonna die.

And I absolutely LOVE his hair. It's color is so pretty and the way that they style it throughout the video is PERFECT. I'm kind of sad that they had Ren's hair grow long again for I really liked him with the short hair.

The song itself was really nice. I enjoyed a lot. At first I was like, "Ok another ballad, I guess I'm ok with that", but then BAM Aron comes in with his part with the synth and catchy beat in the background, and I was pleasantly surprised. I love that sort of surprise aspect in the song. After that part, the song just keeps getting better, but that part is by far my favorite. And Baekho's voice, like damn! It was absolutely perfect for his part during the chorus.

Also this wouldn't be a NU'EST video without the following aspects.

  1. JR wrecking my bias list. Like seriously he's absolutely gorgeous, but stop messing with my organization. I was actually a bit upset about how little he appeared in this video.
  2. Ren making me feel self conscious. This guy is just soo pretty. He's prettier than me, maybe you, and probably every single person on this planet. No offense to the girl in the music video, but Ren stole your spotlight for the prettiest in the video.
Here's the music video and performance video so you can kind of see what I'm talking about.

Now for the acoustic version, I was a bit surprised when I saw SEVENTEEN'S Joshua with NU'EST's Minhyun. I love SEVENTEEN a ton and waited for them debut for FOREVER, so I was pleasantly surprised with Joshua being in the video I really loved the video as a whole. It was simple and sweet, just the two guys singing with a guitar. The song sounds completely different from the one in the other videos, but is equally good. I absolutely LOVE the harmonies the two made with each other. This song in this version was so comforting and calming, and just overall enjoyable. I am happy that Pledis uploaded this video, for I really like it and I love the different approach to the already great song.

Anyway, both ways of the song is great, and Minhyun is just GREAT. His singing in both versions was FANTASTIC. He's my bias for a reason. So yeah, I really loved both versions, but if I had to choose between the two, I really couldn't and it would basically depend on my mood for me to choose. So please comment your favorite version of the song or even who you NU'EST bias is.

So, ummm...yeah

Sailor Moon- Jadeite

After a watching a video on Sailor Moon that was constantly on my recommended on YouTube, I was reminded with how much I loved this show. This, of course, led me to rewatch the entire show because wasting hours of my life for no reason is my favorite past time. I also found that I seriously lacked anime content so that led me to want to write about it. I was trying to figure out how writing this would work because there are a lot of episodes which means I'm not going to review Sailor Moon as a whole because I would forget the beginning by the time I got to the end. I also would not review every single episode because again there are a lot and since it's a superhero show there are a lot of "throw away" episodes. (This also lead me to want to create an "essential viewing" list, which would include only episodes that I think is important in regards to plot or character development.) The arcs themselves are quite large and are split into even smaller parts with ...

NCT Dream- Chewing Gum

Ok, so, another sub group of NCT, NCT Dream, came out Chewing Gum. This might be favorite single that NCT came out with. It's so bright, fun, and cute. Every time I see the video I break out into a smile. The story is pretty lighthearted, and it's very entertaining to watch. I absolutely love the bright colors that they use throughout the video. It really adds to the group's cute and bright theme. I found the video quite interesting to watch. They had a variety of different sets, including the ones made by the computer, and all of them were of bright colors. I also enjoyed the electronic made backgrounds for when the members had the closeups. Each person had a different animated background, so it was interesting to see what was behind them. I also kind of funny that they were using those hoverboard-thingies. (I have no idea what they're called, but I think it's a hoverboard?) The song is quite catchy, and I could probably listen to it over and over again for hou...

Astro- Baby

For those who might know, Astro is a somewhat new group under Fantagio that debuted in 2016. I have been fans of theirs since I watched To Be Continued, which is available on Netflix. 😉 (Check it out!) Sanha has to be my bias 💛, but Moon Bin is such a bias wrecker. 😖 I LOVE this song! It continues their fresh, sweet, and fun concept that they have kept since debut. However, this is less cutesy and right up my alley. It's smooth but still bright, which is absolutely perfect. It has that certain funk to it that is irresistible and insanely catchy. The reoccurring beat is sooo catchy and is great. The electric guitar at 2:43 is EPIC!! I'd have to say though that the ending has to be my favorite part. That beautiful harmony hits the spot, and is perfection. But, Sanha singing the 2nd chorus was really great as well (I really love his voice 💛) One thing I love about this video is how it's filmed in first person so it feels as if you are truly experiencing what's happ...
